Back again!

Haven't blogged again for a while but here's what I've been up to recently.

Most of my time is spent with this little chap!

I have also been enjoying a hot chocolate with marshmallows in the evening with my lovely husband

And getting very excited about our home grown veggies!

There has also been a little time for crochet....

....and cakes!

3 years....

Last week, Max and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary!  We had a rare night out (3rd since Leo's birth!) going to The Scotsman Hotel for cocktails and then our favourite restaurant, David Banns, for a lovely meal.

We got married at The Hub in Edinburgh.  We had a lovely day with photographs taken at Calton Hill, lots of champagne and music from The Upbeat Beatles.  We then had a fantastic 4 week honeymoon going all over Japan and up Mt Fuji! It's strange to think that it has been 3 years already but we have done so much together since we first met in 2006.

Not long after my 21st birthday we set off to travel round India for 3 months and then travelled the transiberian railway accross Russia, Mongolia and China finishing off in Hong Kong.
We came home, moved in together and got engaged not long after.  We married a year later in 2008.

Here we are on my 21st, sorry the pic is a bit blurry.
Since then we've moved house a few times, travelled a lot more, Max started uni and been joined by our gorgeous boy.
Thanks for being a lovely husband and great daddy to Leo.  We love you xxxx

Back again!

I'm back....been busy in our little part of the world of late. I'm back at work (boo!) after a year of maternity leave.  I was so dreading going back and leaving my little babba but really it's not that bad.  I've been back for 2 weeks now and seem to be getting used to the routine.  I shouldn't really complain as I'm only at the nursery 2 days per week.  I do miss my gorgeous boy but know that he's in good hands when not with me!
The weather in Edinburgh has been crazy recently!  Last weekend was lovely and sunny and actually warm!  However this week has been full of thunderstorms!  Thankfully we made the most of it last weekend.  My little garden is doing well and we got the paddling pool out for Leo.

Hope that you're having a lovely weekend!

Cath Love!

The home delivery network man brought a big box of Cath Kidston goodness to my little house today!  I treated myself (and Leo) to a few treats from the sale!
I love it all but think the crochet hangers and my blackberry case are especially fab! And no I'm not toilet training Leo but I thought that the pants were so cute so will keep them for when the time comes!

I also got a lovely surprise yesterday when I came home to a vase of beautiful flowers-Peonies- from Max.  I had them in my wedding bouquet and they have been my favourite ever since.

A little bit of a catch up!

Gosh it's been a while since I've been on here.  It's been a busy couple of weeks filled with cooking classes, playgroup, babysitting and bits and bobs.  And it was my birthday!  I had a lovely day filled with presents, cake and cuddles from Leo. Couldn't have asked for better!

This is the first year that I've had a little garden all of my own and I just love my little space! Here are my new gnomes!

And I even have a few strawberries....

Have been doing some crafty things but nothing finished to show you at the moment so I'll sign off for now.

Famous Felties!

After reading Mollie Makes (fab craft magazine), my mum bought this book. It has so many cute little friends to make!

We started by making a little chihuahua dog brooch each and then I made the russian doll- not sure what I'm going to do with her yet! Here they are, now they are famous!

I want to make Mushroom Girl next!

In other news, my little bubba (not so little now!) is now 10 months old, I don't know where the time goes!
Here are my two favourite boys!
